I am officially done writing the premerge of this season and to celebrate I wanted to post some information about this upcoming season.

Location:

This season the castaways will be fighting it out in the South Pacific on the western islands of the Society Islands of French Polynesia known as the Leeward Islands.  Within this collection of islands is the island of Bora Bora as well as several smaller atolls with lush vegetation and fauna.

Cast:

An official cast release will happen closer to the first episode being posted, however giving some hints should be fun yeah?  There is a cast of 18 people, 9 pairs of loved ones, and those pairs are...in no particular order....

Pair #1 Married Parents with a keen eye for shooting.
Pair #2 Sisters and farm girls
Pair #3 Best Friends and neighbors, still in high school
Pair #4 Mother and Son, an heiress and a fighter respectively
Pair #5 Father and Daughter, an "inventor" and a rebel
Pair #6 Twin Brothers, tricksters and flirts
Pair #7 Girlfriends, ships and pirates galore
Pair #8 Stepsiblings, they got that booty
Pair #9 Brothers, rich orphans

Start Date:
I should hopefully be able to finish writing up the rest of the episodes within the next 6 weeks and this should start sometime mid/late August.  Pray for free time to write shit!  I think this might be my best season yet if these episodes are anything to go by <3

This season went through so many ups and downs it isn’t even funny, there is a reason it took so long to finish this one, and overall I do think this season is weaker than Ryukyu Islands, but I may be totally biased in that department since I love RI so much <3

 

The Winner:

Originally Charlie Brown was never considered the winner, he was supposed to be the third place loser.  However I wrote myself into a corner with making the intended winner have no shot at getting jury support.  So that reverted back to being totally lost without biting the bullet and turning Charlie Brown into the winner.  As a winner Charlie Brown actually does make a lot of sense, though way too over exposed since at first he wasn’t supposed to be the winner.  But overall he had an amazing story arch and in the end he does make a fitting winner in my mind.

 

The Runner up:

Tucker was supposed to be the original winner here, I wanted a negative toned winner compared to Kagura however I made him a little too negative and made his strategy of getting Heather to take the blame for everything too well.  If you go through the season you’ll notice that only a few people ever gave Tucker credit for anything and if facing a jury with Heather he would not have won.  Against Charlie Brown, he would not have won.  He just didn’t have the jury support, but I adore how he came out and in retrospect his story of failing like he did was perfect for the season as a whole.

 

The Rest:

Heather:  Heather kind of fell into the trap of go to villain this season and while she did have some depth I think I may have been able to do more with her.  She was crucial to the plot of the season and she did her job amazingly well.

Lucy:  Lucy was one of the stars of the season and her downfall was outstanding.  I love Lucy as a character and everything she brought to the game was perfect.  Love this bitch.

Mutsumi:  What an amazing goddess, I think out of everyone in the game I found the most surprises from Mutsumi.  I’m not sure if anyone else, other than Swirly <3 , saw her for what she was but I love what she brought to the story.

Toki:  Toki lost too much steam over the course of the game, I’m not even sure why, but she just became less and less important as the game went one and I had to start forcing her into things to make her more relevant.  In retrospect I should have had her leave sooner than she did, but overall she did very well in the game.

Edward:  I had to water down Edward as a character a bit, and I wish I hadn’t but for the sake of the story he needed to become a little vanilla here and there.  As for what he brought to the game he was a great early game hero and once the merge hit his story had to slow down, his exit really was the turning point of the game and it turned out really well actually.

Bart:  What an asshole <3  But in all honesty Bart was such a hit and miss, and in retrospect I should have had him eliminated pre merge and let Lois make the merge.  But everything makes more sense in hindsight doesn’t it?

Gene:  Gene is very similar to Edward in this season, and just like Edward he was watered down a bit for the sake of the story.  There was a lot left off the table in terms of character development for Gene which is a shame and I wish I had given him more to do.  He was great for what I needed though.

Naruto:  lol he was only cast to be the merge boot, nothing else.  I really had nothing for him to do in terms of the game other than to be an asshole.  I’m kind of glad that the worst episode I made was the one that he left in since he was such a non-important factor to the game as a whole.

Lois:  Lois was probably my biggest regret in the season.  She should have made the merge/jury, but for the way this did play out she was a perfect pre merge character and an outstanding story to tell.

Tea:  Along with Kuki and Mutsumi, Tea fell into the “Positive Girl” role in the case, however only one of them really needed to get far into the game.  Tea was a perfect UTRP presence and she left at the perfect time and helped make Gene, Toki, Tucker, and Heather’s stories stronger.

Kuki:  I really wanted to have a few major vote shifts in the pre merge and Kuki was a preplanned one from the get.  Kuki was and is an outstanding character and her leaving like that was amazing.  I really needed to split up the overwhelming P force of Kuki/Charlie and this was the best way to do so.

Usopp:  In the overall story of the season Usopp kind of got lost in the shuffle, everyone else had some kind of role to fill into the story.  I was able to find something for him to do in the end but it was much more about him helping out other people’s stories than his own.

Sakura:  Sakura fell into the Sango trap, for whatever reason I like having a shocking second boot.  I don’t know why I like that, but there it is.  Sakura leaving was all about setting up later events in the game including kicking off Charlie Brown’s story of growth, and Tucker and Heather’s story.

Eric:  What a perfect first boot, and that was all he was going to be.  A huge negative character like him as the first boot and I’m pretty sure everyone saw this one coming as soon as the cast was revealed.  On a side note you couldn’t get more polar opposites first boot and winner like Eric and Charlie Brown.

 

Next Season?

There will be a next season, I’m not totally sure when it will happen but it is in the works.  But here are a few nuggets of info.
. The location for next season is an island chain in French Polynesia.
. We have a cast of 18, 9 pairs of Loved Ones.
. There will be a Final Three.
. Three Episodes have been written.

 

I'm finally going to host a Mole ORG, however I will be running it as a Mini similar to the King of the Nerds Franchise.  This game will only last two weeks period, but we're going to have a lot of fun.  The start date will be October 5th and will run till October 18th.

This will be a cast of 10 players, I'm not going to give away one of the big twists I'm saving so I'm not even going to show you the sample Avatars yet.  That will happen once the game starts

Format:

This game will be Live and rounds will run for several hours depending on the Challenge or if there is a Quiz that night.

Most of the rounds will be split up into Two Nights, the first night being a Mission or two, and the third night being either another Mission and then a Quiz or simply a Quiz.  At the end of each round the players will that a 10 Question Quiz about the Mole, what is there gender?  What Task did they do during a mission?  What Journal Number do they have?  While these Quizzes are being taken the Players will only have access to their Journal (Confessional) and nothing else on the board.  The person with the lowest score will be eliminated, if there is a tie the person who was the slowest will be eliminated.

This will continue until only three people remain in the game, two real players and the Mole, at that point there will be a 20 Question Quiz about the Mole that will span over the entire course of the game.  The person who scores the most of that final quiz will win the game.

This will not be a first come first serve type of thing, there are a lot of good players out here and for this format it requires a little bit more out of people from my experience but this will be a lot of fun and there are plenty of twists and turns planed for this.
